another use for shrinky dinks

This weekend I made this little "art doll" using shrinky dinks. (Full photo and more details at my hobby site: hobbyloco.com.) Another fun and easy shrinky dink project!

It really felt good to lose myself in an art project. It has been a busy month & not much time to play.

I am now the proud owner of a Rubicoil punch! Yay! I plan to host some cool chunky art book projects and bind some little books of my own to sell in my Etsy shop. I have made some really cute little notebooks & the machine is super easy to use.

I am stitching up a large order of 100 finger puppets and a dozen cupcakes. This is my largest order to date. (woo-hoo!) I am limiting my stitching time to prevent any hand problems (everything is stitched by hand). I really thought I would get tired of making finger puppets after I stitched 50 to put on consignment, but I find myself looking forward to my stitching time each day.

Also, I am currently hooked on "Pogo Bowl" ... the new online bowling game at Pogo. I bowl so much better in this game than real life. And best of all... no broken nails!
