WIPocalypse Update for June

There's another full moon .... so it's time for another WIPocalypse update.

I accomplished quite a bit of stitching this month.  So much, that I posted updates on three of my projects on May 31st: http://chaosatlanta.blogspot.com/2014/05/more-time-to-stitch.html

And now I have more updates to post.  First is my "To Everything A Season" Sampler by Sandy Orton (shown above).  I started working on the berries and leaves in the top left section.

I completed a butterfly in my "Butterfly Forest".

I stitched a little witch from the Sept 1988 issue of

"For the Love of Cross Stitch" magazine.

And I worked on my Lighthouse latch hook rug.  I only have 16 rows remaining - so hopefully I will have the latch hook part completed by the next full moon.

This month's topic:  Have you ever been to a stitch gathering such as a retreat or a festival? If so, tell us about it!

Sadly, I have never been to any stitch gathering ... however I do want to go at some point.   The gatherings look like so much fun!  I love to read everyone's blog postings about their experiences.

I guess that's all for now.
Happy stitching!

  4. Fantastic progress on all your pieces this month, the little witch is so cute!

I made a latch hook rug once, it was quite big and took me nearly a year although I didn't do much in the summer because it was too hot to sit with it on my lap!
