a Finish and a Start

I finished stitching "Blue Mr. Monster" by Mosey 'N Me from the 2012 JCS Halloween Issue.  He is pretty darn cute!  I played around with a variety of buttons ... and ended up adding only a simple lime green heart button.  I will finish him into an ornament later this year.

I have a small new start:  Ungloomy - 5" x 7" on 14 ct aida
This is 1 of 3 Pooh themed kits given to me by a special friend.  I will be starting the other 2 soon and work them into the rotation.  Here is my progress on "Ungloomy":
That's all I have for this update.  I am trying to make some progress on my WIPs for the next update.

    Love your Blue Mr. Monster! He's awesome. I need to go digging for that issue of JCS now. What color fabric did you use? Also love your start on Eeyore. I had a stuffed Eeyore as a kid. He was always my favorite from the Winnie the Pooh stories.

      Hi Kevin, I dyed some aida a bright lime green and dirtied it up a bit with coffee grounds. The sample stitched for JCS was done on 32 ct yellow linen. Thanks for the comment.
