This past month I worked on a few of my "gifted" projects. I worked on my "Too Much Honey" sampler, but I was visited by a plague of frogs and ended up taking out all of the stitching I had added (twice!) ... uugh! So, I moved on to "Spell of the Moon" which was gifted to me along with the fabric by Jo (our lovely host of the Gifted Gorgeousness SAL).
I am using a variegated yellow for the moon and a very dark brown elsewhere. Below is the project photo from the pattern:
During the DUCJC challenge, I also started work on another Winnie the Pooh project that was gifted to me, "A Chirpy Sort of Place". It's a nice change to stitch big solid blocks of color after working on some of my other projects with lots of color changes.
At the end of January, I started work on the "Rose Lap Quilt" that was gifted to me by my friend, Pam. This project has 4 panels that I stitched together per instructions, before I started embroidering.
You can peek at all of my projects on my WIPs page,
and my new starts this year on my DUCJC page.
Happy Stitching!
