Time for another WIPocalypse update. First, I have a small finish (yay!): Cross Stitch Sampler by Marika Bel (freebie)
I worked on several projects this month! Here they are:
I finished the maple leaf on my Autumn Sampler.
I made more progress on Multi-Coloured Alphabet by Gail Lawther.
I am moving right along on Good Morning by R. Lanser.
I finally picked up the sadly neglected American sampler by Sandra Sullivan, which I started as one of my DUCJC 2015 projects - and hadn't touched since January.
And last, but not least:
I completed several rows on my American Eagle hooked rug.
I am happy to be making progress - but I currently have 54 WIPs (what?!?), so I had better get stitching!
I almost forgot - this month's topic:
It’s a blue moon today. Show us your favourite WIP that features a lot of blue!
It has to be Sandy Orton's Winter Sampler.
Happy Stitching!

add-on: Oops! somehow I posted on the wrong monthly topic ... (hee-hee)
this month's actual topic:
What makes you pick up a long-abandoned UFO rather than beginning a new piece?
guilt! no, really I just pick up whichever project strikes my fancy at the moment. If I have just a little stitching time, I will grab whichever project is closest. If I am up to a challenge and have an hour or two, I will pick something complex.
OK. Now, I think I have finished my post.

Gorgeous projects..I didnt take part in the WIPocalypse this year: I will wish I had now, I too have so many things to finish xx You may have inspired me to pick them up!
ReplyDeleteNice stitching on autumn and as I'm a great fan of your multi-coloured alphabet, I'm always happy to see it growing (twice in a month). xxx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your finish...this is so pretty...
ReplyDeleteI love all of your WIP's...they are going to be so pretty and they are so very colorful as well.
I love your Latch Hook WIP - I use to do Latch Hook long time ago but I got away from doing that for some reason.
Have a Beautiful Day
Happy Stitching

Such a sweet finish, Congrats! You've made some lovely progress on your other pieces ")
ReplyDeleteLove your cute finish and Autumn's looking great! Good luck for more progress next month!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects. Thanks for the link to your alphabet finish. I just printed it out. Your projects are great, but 54!? My mind would not settle down if I had that many WIPs. Wow. Love the hooked rug. It has been a long time since I worked on one of those. I really enjoyed them. Uh-oh, I see another WIP coming.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your post. Really like the fall sampler!!!!
ReplyDeleteLots of great projects!
ReplyDeleteLovely things you've worked on.
ReplyDeleteLovely WIPs that you were stitching on. YOu have a great number of WIPs, wow. I don't have as many as you do but I love every single one of them because I love to have a variety of choices when I change projects.
