August's Gifted Gorgeousness

Time for another Gifted Gorgeousness Update!  This month I worked on both of my "Winnie the Pooh" projects, that were gifted to me by a sweet non-stitching friend.

This is what the finished project will look like:
A Chirpy Sort of Place

This is where I left off the last time I stitched on it:

Too Much Honey Sampler

Lots of big blocks of solid color areas on these projects!  I don't mind ... I have lots of projects with confetti stitching, constant color changes, and blending - so this is a nice change.

Also ... I'm excited to have received a couple of new Gifted Gorgeousness projects to stitch!  I received both of these from our sweet Jo at Serendipitous Stitching, who is also our SAL host.

Oooh ... this sampler is so tiny and delicate!  It is stitched on a piece of 1-1/2" x 2" silk gauze (new to me).  I love samplers &  look forward to the challenge.
And ... this sweet needle book pattern.  I have been stitching since the 80's (at least) and I don't have any needle books.  (What?!?)   I don't know why I never made one ... but I look forward to making my first with this pattern.

That's all I have for this month.
Happy Stitching!
