I also stitched an ornament for the Christmas Ornie SAL. This ornament is chart-less, as I just sort of worked it out as I stitched. I added some red and clear glass beads for a bit of sparkle.
I managed to work on a several different projects this month including my Dutch Sampler and American Sampler (shown in my last post), as well as the following:

Here is where I left off last time:
I also made progress on Berry Patch Rooster:
Previously:
I was able to purchase enough of the floss I needed this month to get back to stitching on "Gathering Honey". Hooray! Here is my current progress:
Previously, I had only completed the stone path.
We are about 1/3 of the way through the year ... I have worked on 15 of my 51 WIPs and have completed 2 of them, as well as 7 new ornaments. Not too bad!
Topic of the Month: What do you listen to while stitching?
I typically watch movies or binge watch TV shows while I stitch.
Happy Stitching!
Congrats on the cute finishes Cheryl. Nice progress on your WIP's.

I love Orchid Intrigue, I shall have to dig out that issue of the magazine!
ReplyDeleteGreat work on your other pieces too. You have been busy and productive this month.
Your cottage piece is coming along great! Also, the ornament finish is very pretty and the beads add a special touch.
ReplyDeleteYou are working on some lovely projects
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing lol. Beautiful progress congrats on the finishes!
ReplyDeleteLOL. I just had the same experience at Michael's today. All of your progress is wonderful, but I'm anxious to see "Gathering Honey".
ReplyDeleteYou have two lovely finishes here. And great progress on the two WIPs.
ReplyDelete51 WIPs, wow, that's a number. I only have about 20, but this number will increase a lot with all the new starts that I am planning for this year, lol.
Nice progress on everything and great finishes! I often have that issue at Michaels.
ReplyDeleteYou are doing so well with all of your WIP goals, Cheryl, I wish that I had only 51 WIPs (sigh!) - I do not dare count all of mine - lol!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous finish! Great progress on your other projects :o)
ReplyDeleteHugs xx
A very productive month, well done
ReplyDeleteYou had a very productive month of April, I'm impressed . So many great projects. I "only" have maybe a dozen WIPs/UFOs but I'm trying to get it down to just 3 or 4. I don't like all these projects weighing on me but it's so hard not to keep starting new ones! At least it makes me feel better to see other people having the same trouble LOL.
ReplyDeleteGreat progress! Love the little ornament you charted yourself:)
