WIPocalypse and DUCJC : Days 4 - 6

Time to start a brand new year of WIPocalypse!  This is the 4th year for WIPocalypse, and I have posted every month since it began.  Wow!  I'm pretty proud of that.

This month's topic is:
Introduce yourself, your projects, and any goals you have for the year!

Hi, I'm Cheryl.  I live in Atlanta, Georgia USA and have been stitching & doing other needlework for around 40 years or so.  I am currently drawn to dense "busy" samplers (especially Quakers).  You can see my current WIPs here: my WIPs page.

This year I plan to participate in several SALs (stitch-alongs) and am starting a bunch of new projects as part of DUCJC (Debbie's Ultimate Crazy January Challenge).

Here are my new starts for Jan 4-6:

Jan 4) Too Much Honey Sampler (gifted to me)
started: 04JAN15 - updated: 04JAN15

Jan 5) Good Morning by R. Lanser (freebie)

Jan 6) Isn't it Fun to Be a Little Witch? JCS Oct 2014

I'm stitching this for the Halloween Ornaments SAL

You can see all of my new starts here: my DUCJC 2015 page.

My goals for the year are to keep up with my SALs (links in sidebar) and to finish at least a few of my WIPs from years past.

Happy Stitching!

  2. Great projects for the new year. I did the pooh sampler years ago for one of my nephews. It's a fun stitch. Good luck!
